  • Position Overview Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by a multinational client with global presence in the Industrial Technology sector to search for a confidential key hire as a Site Director.
  • This is a critical leadership role overseeing and transforming the plants operations in Porto, Portugal.
  • This is a pivotal role for a seasoned leader with a strong operational and transformational background.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on leadership style, drive business growth, and foster an environment of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the plant.
  • Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing management team to drive efficiency and effectiveness Transform legacy systems and implement best-in-class manufacturing practices.
  • Develop the management team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
  • Strengthen internal and external communications to enhance plant efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Improve employee engagement and reduce turnover, ensuring key staff retention.
  • Drive and embed a culture of change and operational excellence across the plant.
  • Qualifications & Experience Hold a Bachelor”s Degree in Engineering, Operational Management, or equivalent, MBA is a plus Hold 10+ years in a manufacturing environment, with strong plant-level operational experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role, managing operations teams.
  • Proven track record in Chemicals, Packaging, FMCG or related sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving continuous improvement through the use of Lean methods Ability to operate in a low-maturity environment and drive transformational change.
  • Develops and keeps a culture that promotes the creation and implementation of new ideas and innovations, with a strong ability to lead change.
  • Portuguese, English (C1 European Language Level strong written and verbal communication), Spanish is an advantage Look forward to receiving your application!
