- Ensuring that all new and existing services undergo appropriate design, planning, and operational implementation.
- In addition to typical Storage Administrator responsibilities, you’ll be tasked with recommending innovative and, whenever possible, automated approaches to infrastructure tasks.
- Lead the resolution of escalated, complex incidents, problems, or capacity concerns.
- Support outside of regular office hours for emergency assistance, routine maintenance, and customer service.
- Who you are: Formal education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related technology fields.
- Must be comfortable working in US time zone hours (Mostly EST).
- Previous experience in NAS storage administration, with a focus on NetApp storage solutions.
- Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI) and storage networking concepts (SAN, NAS).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) architecture and its hardware/software products.
- Proficient with NetApp NAS Storage (CDOT) platforms, including StorageGRID, FabricPool, replication, and backup strategies (SnapVault, SnapMirror).
- Exposure to NetApp cloud offerings such as BlueXp, FSX Ontap & CVO.
- Familiarity with file share platforms such as CTERA and Cloud object storage (Scality Ring).
- Familiarity with migration tools such as DataDobi, Robocopy, and securecopy.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, such as TSM & Commvault.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using Ansible, with hands-on experience in open-source analytics and visualization tools like Grafana.
- Experience with SAN storage arrays and switches is advantageous, particularly IBM SVC, FSxxxx, and Brocade SAN directors.
- Relevant certifications, such as NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE), are a plus.
- Language skills: English Advanced.
- Spanish is a plus.
