Scope of Work Reviews statement of accounts with all open debit notes and credit notes sends them to clients and agents.
Researches customer claims of invoice payment and/or discrepancies.
Coordinates customer requests for invoice copies, with accounting support staff, as requested.
Contacts customers to request payments.
Applies customers payments correctly in accounting and logistics systems.
Records information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts.
Prepares collections and aging reports on a regular basis for management.
Notifies accounting team leader if customer fails to respond.
Assists customers with credit card payments and reconciles account when payments are received.
Coordinates customers credit applications and prepares a profile summary for analysis Assists with shipment reconciliation and Profit analysis.
Coordinates annual bond application, issues invoices and collects payments.
Assists with related special projects, as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Associate”s degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent, one to two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting.
Acute attention to details.
Proficient in Quickbooks and Magaya.
Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as profit share, discounts, commissions, and percentages.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.
